County Finals Regatta- 31st July2016

Rushbrooke Rowing Club host the County Finals Championship Regatta
Rushbrooke Rowing Club has the honour of holding the 2016 County Finals Regatta which will take place on July 31st in Cuskinny, with the first race of 26 off at 10.00am

The Cork County Championship is the largest coastal rowing event outside of the All Ireland finals, and sees crews from East and West Cork Clubs battle it out for County Final honours.

Spectators are welcome to come along to watch the races, and enjoy the atmosphere as crews from U12 to Master categories compete for the title of County Champions.

The car park at Cuskinny strand will be reserved for the Ambulance and boat trailers, but parking will be available opposite the strand next to Cuskinny Court. As there will be a large volume of spectators and traffic, we would ask people to consider taking an alternate route than to pass through Cuskinny, be mindful of pedestrians and not to block the road or the entrance to Cuskinny Pier or Cuskinny Court, or to park in any way that would cause an obstruction.

There will be food and drinks available. There will also be portaloo’s on site. Please note that Cuskinny is privately owned and a Nature Reserve, so we ask that clubs and spectators respect the area and clean as they go.

We will be holding a raffle on the day with all proceeds going to the Marymount Hospice, and would hope all clubs will support.

Best of luck to all Clubs and Crews in what will hopefully be a great day of racing!
