Essentials for First Aid Kits
I'm a guy from Finland and I never clicked a video this quickly! 😅
(but then after watching the video I don't know if sauna really is that beneficial – oh well it sure as hell feels good!)
The Problem of Reductionism in Science. that's it.
Please do a video on the psilycobin in mushrooms to treat depression or disease please
More sauna videos including native sweat lodges. Do saunas decrease or kill cancer??
Hey, could you guys do more videos related to saunas? I'm from Finland and saunas are relatively common here, like almost every household has one. Would be very interesting to learn what are the real health benefits if ther's any.
I could literally listen to him all day!I'm a poet…but his science amazes me. 👌👏👏👏
Those Paleo folks promoting the consumption of bone broth must be suffering from neurological damage by now. Let's just hope hearing stories like this makes them sweat it out.
Doesn't disregard saunas just yet though people 😜 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJEEAVzHu9KyIzHmbXaSlsfk_9GCS0TOd
So the answer is???? Yes….. I think? Sometimes I watch his videos and am unsure
i start all nutritionfacts videos with like (but not vegan)
Arent saunas bad for sperm count
Please Dr we are in 2018 use Google translation for the German studies next times
Maybe thats why i sweat so much, i have too much lead in me
Sure hopes this works for "smart dust"
The, 'lead' and other deposits:
One of my friends loves her home sauna believing it is a detoxifying machine while she consumes bone broth daily. This video is for her!
The global warming hoax is actually taking focus off of the very real problem of air, soil, and water pollution. Our environment is being poisoned by plastics, heavy metals, and other toxins. That's the real danger.
Saunas also create heat shock proteins which do great things in the body as well according to Dr. Rhonda Patrick.
I'm surprised someone actually signed up to willfully have lead put into their body, even for science So are Bone and Chicken Broth known to have excess levels of lead?
I have done multiple detox protocols over the last 18 years …Diagnosed with high lead levels due to a past chemical lifestyle. The Niacin Sauna detox protocol advocated by Hubbard and presently utilized by Dr David Root has ben the most effective protocol I have encountered. However it needs to be done safely and with great research…Bret Bouer has a Facebook group that outlines the process. Sauna Niacin Detox group
Welcome to Finland! saunas should be always 80 celsius or higher
I would be very interested to know how effective saunas are against viral/bacterial infections such as cold/flu/etc….I'd like to think, from personal experience, that they work.
i have sauna 😛
Dr. Greger for President!
so… if i put a rowing machine in a dry sauna room…
So regardless of whatever efforts you make to improve your health, you will die of a contaminated environment anyway. So depressing.
I'm sure there were more people asking about the science on fasting than there were asking about the science of saunas detoxifying.
Check out this Facebook group on detoxification with saunas! This group has everything that you want to know about saunas and detoxification. www.facebook.com/groups/saunadetox
Most of your commercial saunas use City tap water full of fluoride and chlorine so you're breathing that! Make sure their water is filtered if you get in a public sauna!
I wonder if the same would apply to seat put the amount of iron in the case of someone having hemochromatosis.
Releasing lead into the blood may be necessary before the body sweats it out. The test of the athletes in Turkey means nothing without knowing the lead found (if any) in the sweat.
What about steam rooms?
So, yes? 🤔 Maybe I should watch it again.
I would be sceptical of any of the claims that Scientology makes. They lie.
How about a serious video on CBD oil? It's legal in TN now. Is it legit, or, shit?
I watch almost all video Naturopatic, but don’t see anyone talk about ITP (thrombocytopenia). I have this condition. I don’t produce enough platelets. The last time I went to ER was 2 and 2 red blood. After 4 red blood infusion it went up to 8. 1 platelets infusion. It went up to 40. Next day down 13 next day 12. Today 8. Got another platelets and blood infusion again still waiting for results. The hematologists suggests that I would have to have my spleen and/or hysterectomy/uterus remove. I need help please
No wonder he’s short on time, he takes forever to get to the point! If at all…
Joel Kahn, md says sauna is good for the cardiovascular system so that’s good enough.
Anyone ever listen to the video on 2x? Or is it just me?
Exercise/sweat in the sun. No sauna is going to beat nature.
Dr. Gregor, you're the best!
Yes, it helps
The only thing that this channel has proven is that studies are bull shit.
first he discredits the idea. Then he shows evidence in favor. Then he says these black kids should just play basketball. Dementia?
Learn german, in a few decades are probably no more left of them and it may be important to have someone able to understand this forgotten language…
The site of Bret Bouer does not like this video, not good information.
funny how he can't read german but he have subtitles in german on this video 😀 is not a critique of course because he is an hero for me 🙂
Thank you Dr.Greger for reminding us that stopping pollution, a social/political/economic problem, may be the best answer. We all live down stream from somewhere.
I think Hubbards method is worthwhile as a health promoting system. People should check out Clear body, Clear mind by L. Ron Hubbard of course. The Hubbard method included running (strenuous physical exercise), supplementation with various vitamins & minerals particularly Niacin, Cal-Mag (a blend of Calcium & Magnesium) supplement. I also think that it is fairly obvious that devout Scientologists seem to age better than the general population & think that they should be the next religious group to be studied. The Adventist health study kicked major butt now we need a Scientology health study in my opinion which is highly regulated. Essentially much of Scientology's health practices to me seem to be "barrowed," from orthomolecular medicine particularly Dr. Linus Pauling & Dr. Abraham Hoffer's work.
The Book How not to die I personally see as the ultimate Orthomolecular approach to health.
I don't feel like going to Ankara Turkey anytime soon, that is for shore. And if anyone is confused, sauna or intense exercise = getting rid of 40 to 100 mg of Pb2+/lead os go sauna for getting smarter :-p
I believe the majority of lead in our environment comes from the burning of coal.
I did the sauna program referenced in this video and it helped me a lot. I did it 16 years ago and to this day: 1) I need only 7 hours of sleep instead of 8, 2) I no longer feel the effects of drugs I had taken when younger and 3) I am vegan whereas prior to this program, I experienced prohibitive physical discomfort if I tried to eliminate meat from my diet. I really appreciate, admire and respect you. I just want to draw attention to the observation that even helpful, intelligent, educated people will mock or criticize certain religions (Scientology and Mormonism, for example), in an age where most such people try to be more respectful of various races, (a)genders/(a)sexualities, cultures and religions. This is no different than the anti-semitism that was so rampant prior to WWII. Not that racism, anti-semitism…have been eradicated, but there is at least widespread agreement, especially in academia, that this is unacceptable. People need to recognize the patterns and repetitions of history whenever certain religions are still mocked or unjustly critiqued. Not opposed to the criticism of whatever study was being referenced, it sounds like a valid assessment, but calling Scientology "infamous" came across as a bit derogatory. Scientology has helped me and countless others immeasurably and when someone has religion/a source of real spiritual help, I believe it's important to respect it.
So I’m guessing there’s no definitive proof
Someone find the German article and I’ll translate it. Please. I can’t find access on google scholar
Apparently people in South West England used to "take a cure" in the thermal [Roman] pools of Bath.It turned out that folk who drank too much cider[which they have always made down that way]got lead poisoning from the apple crushing process which was done using lead presses.People got sick and then recovered after taking the cure in the hot pools. They never knew that they had lead poisoning at the time though.
professional and clear as usual. killing it 🙂
