SECURITY: FLORIDA HAS REQUESTED
THAT OUR SEARCH AND RESCUE TEAM
BE DEPLOYED TO THEIR AREA AND
THAT CONSISTS OF A TYPE 3 RESCUE
TEAM WITH 40 PERSONNEL, ALONG WITH SOME WATER ASSETS. THEY ARE A HIGHLY TRAINED GROUP
OF
EMERGENCY RESPONDERS..WHO’VE
UNDERGONE A SERIES OF COMPLEX
TRAINING TO
DEAL WITH VARIOUS DISASTER SITUATIONS. THEY’VE WORKED ON
RESCUING VICTIMS FROM
ELEVATORS SHAFTS AND DOWNED
BUILDING
SWIFT WATER RESCUES …WHERE MULTIPLE CREWS HAVE TO BATTLE
INCREDIBLE CURRENTS

INCREASED IT’S
ARSENAL TO RESPOND TO HURRICANES
AFTER
LESSONS LEARNED SINCE HURRICANE
KATRINA. THOSE ASSETS NOW BEING CALLED ON
..TO
HELP FLORIDA AND WHOEVER ELSE
MAY
NEED HELP DEALING WITH DORIAN. GREG MICHEL/MEMA

AS WELL AS SOME ENGINEER ASSET. THOSE HAVE NOT DEPLOYED AS OF
YET BUT THEY HAVE BEEN

LEAVING UNANSWERED QUESTIONS BUT
IT COULD
BE A STORM THAT DOES DAMAGE IN
AREAS OTHER
